The International Security Expo (ISE) is undoubtedly the biggest and best UK security show — drawing in government and industry experts, as well as the wider end-user community in charge of regulation and procurement, from all over the world.
This year’s show saw all of these professionals unite under one roof to debate the current challenges associated with a constantly evolving threat landscape, as well as to source the latest security innovations and services.
Held at Olympia London from the 3rd to the 4th of December, 2019’s expo played host to more than 200 expert speakers, as well as over 1,000 products on display from 375 plus exhibitors.
The ISE also featured a series of CPD certified-conferences and workshops, which explored considerations of security from initial design through to the technologies that secure and, in the event of an attack, have the capabilities to respond.
Showcasing the 2X-300
2X Systems was on stand to showcase its 2X-300 Vehicle Scanner, which has been developed to meet the fast-moving demands for vehicle screening at ports, border crossings and secure facilities.
Designed for ease of installation and deployment, the system fits into a standard 20ft shipping container and can be installed within four hours on any flat site. Top-down imaging of the vehicle then provides the operator with excellent, fast and easy imaging tools for detecting threats such as drugs, explosives, weapons, contraband and people trafficking.
The simple, open design of 2X Systems’ stand truly stood out from the crowd — showing off the uniquely UK-manufactured 2X-300 product in all its glory. Both potential customers and competitors reacted extremely positively to the credible and rapidly deployable system, with 2X Systems receiving a number of excellent, quality enquiries as a result.
Meeting the demands of the fast-moving security industry
CEO Frank Baldwin and his colleagues provide 2X Systems with the DNA to create exciting and innovative technology in the fast-moving world of security and industrial inspection.
Under Frank’s leadership, the team at 2X Systems is dedicated to continuing to develop innovative, uncomplicated solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the security scanning industry and which end-users view as the best in their class.
Frank said: “You could argue the threat level around the world is at its highest since 9/11. The UK, in particular, is a potential target due to its standing in the world. However, our security services do an outstanding job to protect the public under extremely difficult circumstances, and I believe the products 2X Systems is developing will assist the industry by enhancing the capabilities of security professionals going forward”.
He added: “The ISE is 2X Systems’ premier event and the team is already looking forward to building on this year’s fantastic show at next year’s expo”.
The ISE will be gracing Olympia London again in 2020 on the 2nd and 3rd of December, once again demonstrating evolving security through innovation.
